    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker responsible for implementing procedures and processes for product inspection, quality control, and testing of products. This role includes verifying product information and counts, filling out applicable documentation, and maintaining files and equipment operation. Inspections will be performed per required specifications utilizing equipment such as gage pins, microscopes, micrometers, XRF analysis, and additional tools as necessary. Cross-training into other departments is highly encouraged.

    Responsibilities

    + Implement procedures and processes for product inspection and quality control.

    + Test products and maintain accurate files and equipment operation.

    + Verify product information and counts, and fill out applicable documentation.

    + Perform inspections per required specifications using gage pins, microscopes, micrometers, XRF analysis, and additional tools.

    + Collaborate closely with plating and wiring staff.

    + Encouraged to cross-train into other departments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing and production settings.

    + Proficiency in quality assurance, production, assembly, and quality inspection.

    + Ability to perform inspections per required specifications.

    + Skilled in using equipment such as gage pins, microscopes, and various measuring tools.

    + Basic math skills, including addition/subtraction with decimals, and converting decimals to fractions.

    + Attention to detail and patience in working with small part items.

    + Ability to read and follow blueprints.

    + Comfortable with completing repetitive tasks.

    + Proficient measuring skills, including the use of calipers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to perform inspections per required specifications.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are Monday to Thursday, from 5:00 am to 2:30/3:00 pm. The work environment involves working closely with a supportive team, using various inspection and measuring tools, and focusing on attention to detail. The dress code is typically casual and appropriate for a manufacturing setting.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seaford, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
