Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated Material Handlers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for picking and bagging materials, using RF scanners, moving materials around the warehouse, and operating stand-up forklifts. Prior forklift experience is beneficial, but we provide training and certification for those without it. Experience in a warehouse or plant environment, particularly in moving boxes and using RF scanners, is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Pick and bag materials as required.
+ Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory.
+ Move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
+ Operate stand-up forklifts for material handling.
+ Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
+ Ensure accurate order picking and packaging.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in warehouse or plant environments.
+ Proficiency with RF scanners.
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
+ Ability to operate or learn to operate stand-up forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Stand-up forklift operator experience.
+ Experience with SAP/EWM systems.
+ Strong general labor skills.
+ Previous experience in packaging and order picking.

Work Environment
Our facility is climate controlled, providing a comfortable and safe working environment. The first shift runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with extended hours up to 4:30 am to 3:00 pm. The second shift operates from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with extended hours up to 3:00 pm to 1:30 am. Interviews for the first shift are conducted between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm, and second shift interviews are held after 3:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sanford, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
