Job Title: Machinist
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, lasers, drill presses, and press brakes. In this role, you will produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring that machining processes are optimized for quality and efficiency. You will work with aerospace and defense clients, adhering to tight tolerances ranging from +/-0.005 in to +/-0.001 in. The position involves working mostly with 3-axis high-speed linear mills, 4-axis vertical mills, and 5-axis mills, utilizing Mastercam and Unigraphics, and programming using G-code and M-code.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills, lathes, lasers, drill presses, and press brakes.
+ Produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Ensure machining processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.
+ Work with aerospace and defense clients, adhering to tight tolerances ranging from +/-0.005 in to +/-0.001 in.
+ Utilize Mastercam and Unigraphics for machining processes.
+ Program using G-code and M-code.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with mill, machining, lathe, and CNC operations.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Experience working with Mastercam and Unigraphics.
+ Programming skills using G-code and M-code.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
3 weeks of paid vacation accruing starting from your first day. After you have worked there for over a year, you will receive an additional week of vacation. good company benefits and 401k. Health, vision, dental., disability, supplemental
