    Summary

    Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. Full-time, temporary, position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks, deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate fertilizer truck, fill application equipment, and support plant operations as needed.

    + May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.

    + Maintain and keep trucks clean.

    + Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities;

    + Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers

    + Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc.

    Typical Education

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Relevant Experience

    + Truck driving experience preferred

    + Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus

    + Knowledge of farm operations is a plus

    + Must be able to lift 50lbs

    + Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job

    Required Certifications

    + Must hold and maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate driving record

    + Tanker Endorsement preferred
