Grant Thornton is seeking a Market Marketer (Associate Director) to join the team in the Philadelphia, PA office.
As a Field / Area Marketing Associate Director in our Connected Sales & Marketing function, you will serve as a player / coach both leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives across your respective area while coaching a high-performing team of Field Marketers. Working collaboratively with GTM, marketing and sales leaders, you'll translate data-driven insights into comprehensive marketing plans that drive measurable business growth. Your dual role as both practitioner and leader will be essential in bringing our firm's brand to life primarily through strategically orchestrated event and sponsorship execution. From day one, you'll be empowered by our commitment to excellence and collaborative approach to make meaningful impact on our market presence while mentoring others to achieve the same high standards.
Your Day-to-Day May Include:
+ Partnering with local leaders and marketing / sales teams to identify market-specific priorities based on cross-functional data analysis
+ Translating those priorities into local marketing plans and calendars that align with firm-wide objectives while addressing local market needs
+ Collaborating with campaign strategists to incorporate emerging content and thought leadership into area marketing plans
+ Planning and overseeing the execution of 1st and 3rd party events and sponsorships that enhance our brand presence and generate qualified leads
+ Coaching a team of Field Marketers while actively executing strategic marketing initiatives as a "player coach"
+ Serving as the primary point of contact for marketing matters within your assigned area, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities
+ Implementing best practices for event follow-up and lead nurturing across your area
+ Capturing, analyzing, and maintaining quality marketing data to inform future initiatives and demonstrate ROI
+ Facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration across Field Marketing
+ Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure aligned messaging and seamless execution
+ Working with onshore and offshore members of our events and sponsorships center of excellence to elevate execution standards
+ Other duties as assigned
You Have the Following Technical Skills and Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field required; MBA preferred
+ 8-10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in professional services or related industry
+ 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated success in developing marketing talent
+ Extensive experience in strategic marketing planning, event management, and campaign execution
+ Advanced proficiency with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
+ Strong analytical capabilities with proven track record of using data to drive marketing decisions
+ Exceptional project management skills with ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
+ Outstanding communication and leadership skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
+ Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking and team development
+ Experience working collaboratively across functions and with geographically dispersed teams
+ Agility and adaptability in responding to changing business priorities and market conditions
+ Can travel as needed

+ Benefits for internship positions: Grant Thornton interns are eligible to participate in the firm’s medical, dental and vision insurance programs and the firm’s employee assistance program.
