THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Treasury Services Risk Officer at Banc of California, you will be responsible for the handling of Risk related reviews and decision making for the Treasury Management Services department. Your role will involve leading initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Treasury Management risk processes. The position requires strong independent thinking skills, thorough knowledge of treasury and banking products, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovate work environment. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
+ Continuously review, identify, assess and recommend changes to Management to enhance processes for risk related tasks.
+ Prepare and provided continual updates of tasks to Treasury Management Operations (TMO) Management
+ Prepare monthly statistics related to functions
+ Participate in and/or lead projects and initiatives.
+ Prepare training materials as needed for internal stakeholders
+ Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of internal policies and procedures to effectively assist clients. To keep procedures and job aids current.
+ Follows established bank policies & procedures, meets and adheres to audit standards. Supports the company’s goals and values.
+ Manage the Periodic ACH Originator Reviews, including non-renewals
+ Maintaining processes to ensure completeness of ACH Originator Renewals and timeliness of requests
+ Utilize National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) operational guidelines for decision-making
+ Customer (Internal/External) communication when addressing ACH Originator risk concerns or assisting in questions.
+ Handling of the High-Risk SEC TMO Requirements
+ Take lead in creation and implementation of optimization solutions for ACH risk processes.
+ Handling of escalated ACH Originator activity that is in violation of NACHA Rules

The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
+ Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
+ Required: Minimum 4 years of experience in supporting ACH operations.
+ Minimum of 2 year of ACH Risk Support
+ Preferred: ACH Certification
+ Strong passion for client services.
+ Ability to lead and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
+ Effective organizational and time management skills.
+ Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments.
+ Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to NAHCA rules
+ Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.
+ Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management.
+ Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
+ Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.

SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
