I2X Technologies is seeking aSoftware Engineerto support ongoing activities for a customer inLongmont, CO.This position will behybridwithNO clearance requirement.

+ Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.

+ Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software

+ Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

+ Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

+ Ensures software standards are met.

Qualifications

+ Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, 5 years with a Bachelors

+ Background experience with software quality or automation

+ Experienced in:

+ Proficient in Java

+ Microservices knowledge

+ C+

+ + Qt framework (GUI)

+ pub/sub messaging

+ PostgreSQL

+ Linux environments

+ Ansible Scripting

+ Agile Methodologies

+ Full software development cycle

+ Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline, distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded applications is a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
