Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid\-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle\.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150\-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets\. _This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD\._

What will I be doing?
The Lead Bartender is responsible for, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high standard of beverage quality\. This role involves guiding bartenders, coordinating with the kitchen and service staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations\. Additionally, the Bar Lead will engage in research and development with the bar team to innovate and refine cocktail recipes, bartender standards, and ingredient preparation\. The lead bartender will then report to his/her managers to further cocktail, garnish, and preparation development while implementing a sustainable cocktail program\.
+ Guide Bar Staff: Train, mentor, and guide bartenders to ensure efficient and luxury service\.
+ Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, handle complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction\.
+ Inventory Management: Monitor and inspect bar inventory, assist in preparing requisitions for supplies, and minimize waste\.
+ Beverage Preparation: Prepare and ensure all syrups, infusions, juices, and garnishes are to standard\.
+ Quality Control: Ensure all beverages meet quality standards and maintain consistency\.
+ Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices\.
+ Financial Management: Handle cash transactions, manage bar tabs, and ensure accurate billing\.
+ Reporting: Maintain records of product loss, inventory
+ Research and Development: Collaborate with the bar team and Bar Manager on cocktail development, bartender standards, and ingredient preparation \(syrups, juices, etc\.\)\. Ensure all creations and practices meet the Outlet’s standards\.
+ Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
+ Cut, store and ensure product quality of all beverage\-related perishables
+ Respond professionally to inebriated guests, as needed

**Pay Range:** _The hourly rate is $18\.50 per hour plus tips and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\._
