Special Education Teacher in Wisconsin Dells - Fall of 2025 through Spring 2026.

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction that supports students' academic, social-emotional, and executive functioning growth. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure access to the general education curriculum in the least restrictive environment, while designing individualized interventions and promoting inclusion. Position Details:

Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr. (based on experience)

Length: August 2025 - June 2026

School(s): Elementary, Middle, High school

Details:

Start Time: 7:30 AM

End Time: 4:00 PM

Meal Break: 30 minutes

Class: Special Education

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

+ Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.

+ Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development.

+ Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

+ Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills.

+ Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on students and activities as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.

+ Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in special education.

+ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

+ Valid teaching license in Special Education.

+ Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.

+ Experience with various instructional strategies and assistive technologies.
