• Medical Oncology Physician Assistant needed in

    Amergis (Chicago, IL)


    Salary: $3200 / Week

     

    Amergis is seeking a Medical Oncology Physician Assistant in Chicago, IL!

     

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

    Responsibilities:

    + Evaluate patients without same-day oncologist visit and a ssess patients experiencing chemotherapy adverse events (AEs)

    + Provide assessments for walk-in patient and c over for providers on consult service by seeing their clinic patients

    + Sign chemotherapy orders and dose modifications as directed and r efill prescriptions as needed

    + Return patient calls escalated by clinic triage nurses/staff and determine the urgency of their needs

    + Order NGS testing under provider direction

    + Educate patients about chemotherapy and toxicities

     

    Patient Load: Up to 8-10 patients per day, plus additional duties mentioned above

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Active, unrestricted IL license

    + Active IL DEA and Controlled Substance License required upon start

    + BLS required

    + 1 year of clinical experience required in internal medicine, oncology, and/or hematology
