    Salary: $2652 / Week

     

    The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares forpatients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observingand treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awakefrom anesthesia. The PACU nurse mustmonitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedationis wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patientsare regaining consciousness.

     

    36 hours/Week. D/N rotates openings, Night openings, and 1 Day shift opening. D/N is 50% D/N rotation with up to 2 weekend shifts per month MUST HAVE: 3+ years RN experience 1+ years Travel PACU experience

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.

    + ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
