    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process andthe delivery of patient care. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner with supervision. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and isaccountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

     

    Position Description: Observation MS RN - Days - **AUTO OFFER** NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE) - Bi-weekly orientation Guaranteed Hours: 36 Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday. Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: Chest pain, abdominal pain, flank plank, CVA/TIA, generalized weakness/awaiting placement/geri-psych placement. Skillset: PIV insertion, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1-4:5; NOCs 1:5-7; Excellent LPN and CNA support. CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes assignment on NOC shift. Unit Strengths: Excellent teamwork with support of fantastic LPNs and CNAs. Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos * 3 call-ins can result in termination * *** Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires *** Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required
