CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer DevOps opening for our client in Atlanta, GA.
**Location:** Atlanta, GA
**Duration:** 8 months
Duties:
+ Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines using Talend for integration with Snowflake.
+ Implement and manage DevOps processes including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) using GitLab.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and streamline application development and deployment.
+ Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability by performing Unix-based scripting and troubleshooting.
+ Monitor and optimize SQL queries for efficient data access and transformation.
+ Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for secure, high-quality code delivery.
Skills:
+ Proficiency with **Talend** for ETL development.
+ Strong working knowledge of **Snowflake** data warehousing.
+ Advanced **SQL** skills for data manipulation and transformation.
+ Experience with **Unix/Linux** environments and shell scripting.
+ Familiarity with **GitLab** and CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance.
+ Knowledge of DevOps principles and automation tools.
Experience:
+ Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in application development with a focus on data integration and DevOps practices.
+ Proven track record of working on enterprise-grade ETL and deployment systems.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
