Overview:
Kings Island is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive **Purchasing & Inventory Specialist** to support the Food & Beverage team during our busy seasonal operation. This behind-the-scenes role focuses on administrative and clerical functions such as purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, and coordination with internal departments including Finance and F&B Operations.

Responsibilities:
+ Assist in procurement of food, beverage, and supply items for multiple F&B locations across the park
+ Process purchase orders, monitor order statuses, and follow up on deliveries with vendors
+ Receive goods and verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and invoices
+ Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple locations using inventory management software
+ Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with quarterly and end-of-season reporting and reconciliation
+ Liaise with vendors regarding availability, lead times, pricing, and substitutions
+ Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure timely invoice processing, billing accuracy, and budget tracking
+ Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership to forecast product needs and reduce waste
+ Support compliance with food safety, product rotation, and storage guidelines
+ Provide clerical support to the F&B team including data entry, spreadsheet updates, and reporting
Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
+ Prior experience in high-volume, multi-location food service or hospitality operations is highly desirable
+ Strong administrative and clerical skills; experience with purchasing and inventory systems a plus
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with inventory or ERP software
+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
+ Availability to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including weekends and holidays
+ Must be at least 18 years old
