• Mid-Level Network Security Engineer

    ManTech (Clarksburg, WV)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Mid-Level** **Network Security Engineer** to join our team in **Clarksburg WV.**

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure that includes routing protocols BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, VPNs, web proxy, and XML gateway for enterprise web services.

    + Work on different networking concepts and routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN and other LAN/WAN technologies.

    + Assist in determining enterprise information assurance and security standards.

    + Ensure information assurance/security standards and procedures are up to date.

    + Coordinate and evaluates security programs for an organization. Utilizes information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements.

    + Identify, report, and resolve security violations.

    + Satisfy information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree in field mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science (or equivalent) or 11 years of experience with no degree.

    + 5 + years of relevant work experience with 2 years of total experience with one year of current experience in supporting and troubleshooting various computing devices and operating systems.

    + Proficiency in both networking and cybersecurity technologies and protocols.

    + Experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux or Unix base operating systems.

    + Experience with ALG (RTP, RTSP and FTP, DNS, HTTP), DHCP.

    + Experience working in an Agile organization using SAFe.

    + Shift: Day, with possible after hour and/or weekend on call duties that usually rotate among staff.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Associate (CCCA).

    + Security+ certified.

    + A+ certified.

    + Strong technical background.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

    + Constantly operates a computer.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
