ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior** **Installer** to join our team in **Norfolk, VA.** This position is **onsite.**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Perform required installation of various equipment types, communication equipment, racks, cabling, cable management, and other installs as required

+ Work alongside engineers to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems

+ Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement

+ Perform work between customer sites, shore sites, and/or on ships

+ Work with Project Managers and provide recommendations on most efficient ways to accomplish installs

+ Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as needed up to 25%

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ 5+ years of relevant experience in related field

+ Technical experience with AC/DC circuits

+ Knowledge and understanding of test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Optical analyzers, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters, etc.

+ Knowledge and understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) services at both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) locations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with JIRA/Confluence

+ NAVSEA Certified in Fiber Optic Termination

+ AutoCAD Drafting experience

Clearance Requirements:

+ US Citizenship required and an Active Secret clearance to start

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 Lbs

+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50%

+ Be able to ascend and descend ladders as required for installations

+ Must be able to position oneself to install communications systems, server racks, or potentially running transmission lines as required.
