    Energy Application Engineer

    SUMMARY:

    Aeroseal is looking for an Engineering Leader that will apply technical expertise and problem-solving skills to implement Aeroseal's cutting-edge technologies across diverse applications. You will work closely with customers, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions that optimize energy efficiency and sustainability.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

    + 4+ years of experience in energy efficiency, HVAC systems, or building performance.

    + Strong understanding of building science, HVAC systems, Construction Management, and Energy conservation.

    + Experience with Measurement and verification is preferred.

    + Proficiency in energy modeling software and tools is a plus

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

    + Hands-on experience with system testing and commissioning is preferred.

    + Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

    + Mechanical Engineering License (PE) is preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Evaluate project requirements and recommend energy-efficient solutions using Aeroseal products and technologies.

    + Collaborate with clients to design and implement customized applications for HVAC and building envelope sealing.

    + Conduct on-site assessments to diagnose energy inefficiencies and develop improvement strategies.

    + Provide technical support and training to contractors, project managers, and end-users.

    + Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure successful deployments.

    + Analyze project outcomes to quantify energy savings and performance improvements.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and standards related to energy efficiency and building systems.

    + Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

     

    The estimated pay range for this role is $90,000-120,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
