Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering therapy services to clients with communication and swallowing disorders. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative environment.

_Responsibilities:_

+ Administers the speech therapy treatment plan as developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.

+ Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in performing patient care activities.

+ Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with the education and competence to care for the patients.

+ Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills

+ Meets mandatory continuing education requirements

+ Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third party payers, through education, coaching and other assistance as necessary

+ Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency

+ Performs other related duties and activities as required.

_Qualifications:_

+ Graduate of an accredited school of speech therapy assistant with a Bachelors Degree

+ One year experience as a Speech Therapy Assistant in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.

+ Pediatric and Home Health experience preferred.
