    Description

    Overview: The Visual Merchandising Coordinator (Fixtures & Signage) oversees and enhances the procurement, tracking, and installation of fixtures and signage for retail locations. This role requires strategic planning, coordination, and effective communication with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and store operations to ensure alignment with brand standards, budgets, and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Ordering and Procurement:

    • Develop and manage sourcing strategies for fixtures and signage, ensuring alignment with company objectives and brand guidelines.

    • Oversee procurement processes, proactively addressing vendor selection, negotiation, and cost optimization.

    Vendor Relationship Management:

    • Lead communication with suppliers, negotiating contracts, resolving complex issues related to quality, timelines, and pricing effectively.

    • Cultivate strong vendor partnerships, ensuring reliability, quality, and alignment with organizational needs.

    Advanced Inventory Management:

    • Implement sophisticated tracking systems and maintain comprehensive records of fixture and signage inventory from procurement through delivery.

    • Analyze inventory data to optimize procurement and inventory management strategies.

    Logistics and Delivery Excellence:

    • Coordinate and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of fixtures and signage.

    • Proactively manage delays and discrepancies, providing swift, strategic resolutions.

    Budget Management and Analysis:

    • Monitor and manage budgets related to fixtures and signage, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with financial targets.

    • Provide detailed reporting and analysis on spending, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and budget efficiencies.

    Documentation and Process Optimization:

    • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of purchase orders, invoices, delivery schedules, and communications.

    • Regularly review and enhance documentation practices and procurement processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Foster effective collaboration with visual merchandising, merchandising, marketing, and store operations teams, aligning project goals and timelines.

    • Serve as a knowledgeable resource and point of escalation for complex fixture and signage-related issues.

    Process Innovation:

    • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related discipline.

    • Minimum 4 years of experience in visual merchandising, procurement, inventory management, or related roles, preferably within a retail environment.

    • Proven expertise in JDA/Blue Yonder, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

    • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with exceptional organizational capabilities.

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and communicate with vendors and internal teams.

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Proven leadership and project management experience in visual merchandising initiatives.

    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of addressing and resolving complex operational issues independently.

    • Strategic critical thinking skills to analyze visual merchandising strategies and deliver data-driven recommendations.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to travel occasionally to retail locations or vendor sites.

    • Capability to lift or move fixture and signage samples weighing up to 25 lbs.
