    The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Receiving Inspection). In this role as a Quality Auditor, you will provide Quality support on the 1st Shift.

    Included duties:

    + Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base.

    + Provide auditing support to shop floor operations.

    + Be able to support the 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

    + Note: Overtime requirements vary due to support of customer needs.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Typically requires a high school diploma or the overall equivalent and a year of related experience.

    + Experience with and/or working knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.

    + Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.

    + Able to support the 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

    + May consider candidates with additional experience for a more senior role.

     

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    Additional background with any of the below beneficial in this role:

    + Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).

    + Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    + Weld Inspection.

    + Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
