    Data Engineer

     

    $150-165K/year

     

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. This role offers a hybrid work environment, blending on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and warehousing solutions. Your expertise will empower our teams to unlock insights, streamline processes, and drive data-driven decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to process and manage large datasets.

    + Build and optimize data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.

    + Utilize SQL to perform data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.

    + Leverage AWS tools and services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, etc.) for data storage, processing, and integration.

    + Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Python to support data workflows and automation.

    + Support data quality initiatives by implementing monitoring and validation tools.

    + Collaborate with analysts to integrate analytics and reporting tools into data workflows.

    + Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud ecosystems.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    + 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role.

    + Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

    + Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Glue.

    + Proficiency in Python for building and automating data workflows.

    + Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

    + Understanding of machine learning or predictive analytics workflows.

    + Familiarity with distributed data systems (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
