We have an outstanding Contract position for aQuality Control to join a leading Company located in the Louisa, VA surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Inspect and Test Finished Products: Perform quality checks on finished air filters, including visual inspection, physical measurements, and functional tests to ensure compliance with specifications.

+ In-Process Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing stages, identifying potential issues and working with production teams to address them.

+ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any non-conformances. Ensure proper documentation of quality control results and assist in reporting findings to management.

+ Calibration and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that testing equipment and measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained. Assist in troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions.

+ Compliance: Ensure that all products meet company quality standards, as well as relevant industry regulations and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).

+ Data Analysis: Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

+ Collaboration with Production Team: Work closely with production personnel to implement corrective actions and preventive measures for quality-related issues. Provide guidance and support on quality improvement initiatives.

+ Root Cause Analysis: Investigate any defects or deviations from quality standards and perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying issues.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Strong understanding of quality control processes and tools (e.g., statistical process control, root cause analysis, etc.).

+ Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

+ Knowledge of manufacturing and safety standards, including ISO and OSHA regulations.

+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
