Overview
We are seeking an experienced Applications and Integration Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our application and integration architecture. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of application and integration architecture principles, patterns, and best practices, and experience with various technologies such as APIs, ESB, microservices, and message queues.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Lead the development and maintenance of our enterprise application and integration architecture.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
+ Design and develop integration solutions using various technologies such as APIs, ESB, microservices, and message queues.
+ Create and maintain high-level and detailed integration architecture diagrams for both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and mentor junior developers as needed.
+ Work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize integration initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
+ Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating new integration tools and techniques and recommending improvements to existing system integration processes and solutions.
+ Ensure efficient and effective connection and communication capabilities of technology assets, meeting business needs and driving timely and efficient delivery.

+ Multi-experience and Micro Frontend Architecture

+ Distributed Apps, APIs, and Services Architecture
+ API Management using AWS API Gateway or IBM WebMethods.
+ Experience with Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
+ Understanding of Kafka architecture and its components (e.g., brokers, producers, consumers).
+ Experience with Kafka API and Kafka Streams.
+ Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns and best practices.
+ Architecture Decision Making

+ Data Architecture Patterns and Practices

Minimum Qualifications
+ 12+ years of proven industry experience, with 7+ years in the enterprise/solution architecture roles, focusing on applications and integrations.
+ Strong understanding of digital business and technology trends
+ Experience with application and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, microservices, ESB)
+ Experience with enterprise integration platforms and integration capabilities (e.g., API management using AWS API Gateway or IBM WebMethods, data integration, cloud integration)
+ Understanding of integration patterns and best practices (e.g., EAI, SOA, microservices integration)
+ Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Nice To Have
Certification in architecture or related field (TOGAF, Azure Architect, AWS Certified Architect)
