Major/Essential Functions:
+ Provides inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology clinical services at the El Paso Children's Hospital and outpatient clinic of TTUHSC El Paso
+ Supervises residents' clinics and participates in the overall teaching program for teaching and training of residents and medical students, to include the presentation of lectures
+ Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
+ Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
+ Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission
+ Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations;
+ Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
+ Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications:
+ M.D. or D.O. Degree
+ Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited child neurology residency program
+ Board Certification in neurology with special qualification in child neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or successful completion of neurology subspecialty fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program in the United States
+ Texas medical license, or eligible for licensure in Texas
