    Position: Maintenance Performance Improvement Coordinator

     

    Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Department Performance Improvement Coordinator in its Maintenance department based at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.

     

    Palisades is positioned to become the first nuclear power plant in the United States to restart after previously entering the early stages of decommissioning. By joining our team, you will be part of a unique and historic undertaking for the nuclear industry and the nation!

    Job Summary:

    This position will serve as the department subject matter expert for the Corrective Action Program, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and processes.  They will execute the CAP and interface with department leaders to applicable work groups to ensure issues are identified and addressed appropriately.

    Examples of assigned duties include, but are not limited to:

    + Implementing performance improvement programs and providing department support and oversight of those programs including CAP, cause evaluations, self-assessment/benchmarking, trending, and OPEX.

    + Assessing CAP data to identify department trends.

    + Supporting CAP investigations/cause evaluations and support IR reviews.

    + Managing performance indicators.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education/ Experience:

    + 2 years relevant nuclear experience including Corrective Action Program preferred.

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Technical discipline is preferred.

    Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Experience with cause analysis preferred.

    + Ability to work independently and interface with management.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

    + Ability to handle multiple assignments and work within deadlines.

    + Willing to be flexible and support the department as new projects arise.
