Overview
This isn’t your typical operations role. This is where Innovation DRIVES the business. As Director, Investment Operations, you won’t just manage the media machine—you’ll reinvent how it runs. You’ll design fluid, AI-powered workflows. You’ll pilot emerging tools before they hit the mainstream. And you’ll sit at the heart of a transformation engine for one of the largest advertisers in the world.
Your Mission:
Lead the transformation of how media investment operates across digital video. Be the conductor between strategy and execution, orchestrating high-velocity insights, real-time optimization loops, and intelligent automation that compress weeks of analysis into seconds of action.

Responsibilities
Your Operating System (OS):
Fluid Investment Infrastructure:
Architect agile, cross-channel investment processes that flex in real time. Surface and deploy optimizations faster than traditional cycles allow.
+ AI x Human Intelligence:
Leverage dashboards, automated summaries, and performance AI to turn raw data into immediate, strategic action. Know when to step in with human instinct, and when to let automation take charge
+ Measurement is Momentum:
Track what matters, when it matters. Own the performance loop—brand safety, media delivery, partner health—and drive resolution before problems even surface.
+ Marketplace + Mission Alignment:
Consult on smarter spend strategies. Move beyond age/gender to align marketplace conditions with brand ambition, campaign goals, and partner commitments.
+ Operational Excellence by Design:
Eliminate friction across planning, analytics, finance, and investment teams. Implement self-healing workflows and proactive alerts. Troubleshoot like a strategist. Optimize like a product manager.
+ Team as Product:
Lead a squad of curious, performance-obsessed analysts. Mentor them into future-ready media operators who thrive in ambiguity, ask smarter questions, and build with both hands and head.
Qualifications
+ 6+ years leading digital media experience (video a must), including investment, planning, executional strategy, analytics integration, and marketplace expertise
+ Proven ability to design and scale high-performance processes in a matrixed org
+ Strong command of data tools (Prisma, MBox, iSpot, Tableau, MediaTools, IAS) and a hunger to explore what’s next (Gemini, Copilot, API-fed reporting)
+ Marketplace relationships that encourage innovations and bring first-to-market ideas forward
+ A storyteller’s instinct and a QA detective’s attention to detail
+ Experience managing teams, uplifting talent, and leading by doing
+ An agile mindset: bias toward testing, learning, iterating
+ Passion for innovation, automation, and the power of media to move business

Compensation Range: $145000 - $150000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
