The freelance Pickleballtv Content Assistant will support the content and production teams in creating and clipping content for Pickleballtv’s websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to break into production, highly organized, and ready to learn—with a strong work ethic and genuine enthusiasm for the role.

The freelance Pickleballtv Content Assistant will be required to work full-time 40-hour weeks with a Wednesday-Sunday schedule.

Key Responsibilities** **:

+ Clip and log matches for Pickleballtv.com and its mobile app.

+ Upload content to Pickleballtv.com and its mobile app.

+ Post content daily clips and cover PPA & MLP matches live on social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

+ Create and edit short videos and graphics using Adobe Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop.

+ Collaborate with programming and production to determine the prioritization and promotion of matches and content schedules.

+ Help organize the digital Pickleballtv content calendar.

+ Organize, pack and ship marketing materials to events.

+ Provide research for feature series, and entry-level production PA tasks to support shoots.

+ Monitor daily trends, stay on top of what competitors are producing daily, and find ways to use that as inspiration when pitching ideas.

+ Assist the Pickleballtv team members with their daily deliverables.

Qualifications:

+ An interest in production, content, and social media

+ Strong editorial judgement and writing skills; skilled at writing clearly and concisely under pressure

+ A plus if you have an interest in and knowledge of pickleball players and the pro tour

+ Highly organized and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously

+ Superior attention to details is a necessity

+ Ability to work well both independently (especially during the weekend shifts) and in a team environment

+ Knowledge of video editing and graphic design software, Native Social Analytics/Insights

+ Strong analytical skills for measuring and tracking success

+ Have a positive team player attitude during long production days

+ Available to work nights and weekends around the tennis calendar

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $24.00 to $27.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
