    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Sales Representative/Coordinator role is responsible for pro-active selling to specific customer segments, administration of key sales systems and processes and providing sales support to the Sales Group in the Market Area. This position reports to the Territory Manager.

     

    The Sales Representative/Coordinator role will support the sales staff as needed and serves as a liaison between customer and Company by identifying and contacting current and prospective clients, generating sales proposals, and servicing existing accounts. Ensures quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery.

    WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

    + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas

    + Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

    + Set up quotes in Salesforce for sales reps and customers, review discounts with sales rep based on volume and products required. Distribute quotes to customers if required.

    + Provide daily information to plants regarding expected sales for next day.

    + Will have accountability for defined customer segments with detailed budgets and objectives. Will sell to existing customers and develop new customers. Will understand customers’ product and business requirements and translate the current and unmet needs of customers into sales opportunities.

    + Customer inquiries and complaint resolution

    + Credit & collections coordination/support where applicable

    + Plans and schedules visits to existing accounts in assigned territory per timeframe set by the department; suggests products for account to order, and facilitates problems to be corrected; establishes and maintains rapport with accounts and client publishers in order to continue a positive business relationship for the department.

    + Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Attends operational meetings and participates in strategic planning for the enterprise.

    + Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials; works with marketing staff to develop and produce specialty sale materials as needed. Oversees new and existing account services through quality checks and other follow-up as specified per department requirements; identifies and resolves client concerns. Prepares a variety of status reports, including trends in territory, upcoming events, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information, concerns or feedback gathered through field activity.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Education: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

     

    Required Work Experience: 3-5 years work experience, sales preferred.

    Required Computer and Software Skills:

    • Google Suite

    • SAP

    • Salesforce

     

    Travel Requirements: 25% (no overnight travel)
