Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Construction Manager/Resident Project Representitive to help oversee andmanage a WWTF System Improvements Project.

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for budget monitoring, construction quality and safety on the project site

+ Prepares monthly contract status reports, budget reviews, amendment requests and negotiations

+ Responsible for working as a team with the contractor, client, field team and designer

+ Responsible for review of work, rejection of defective work, inspections and testing

+ Daily report writing

+ Responsible for preparation of meeting agendas and portions of proposals

Qualifications

+ 10+ years experience including a lead role in $30 million or greater wastewater treatment facility project

+ Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training

+ Thorough understanding of construction management processes and in-depth financial understanding of construction management

+ Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

+ Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be extremely organized

+ Working knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

+ Working knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans

+ Strong oral and written communications skills

+ Strong computer and internet skills

+ Proficient in MS Word and Excel

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

+ Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related program

+ Proficient in Document Management Systems (i.e. Procore, Bentley PW/EADoc, etc.)

+ OSHA 30-hour safety course

+ Certified Construction Manager or ability to obtain certification
