Summary:

This position provides technical assistance to clinicians and other hospital personnel on BD products and services. The representative serves as a clinical resource for customers and promotes BD's positive reputation in the community by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and being an active participant in local events.

Market includes Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota

Responsibilities:

+ Provides clinical education to customers on BD products, therapies and/or procedures

+ Assists with product evaluations or competitive product comparisons

+ Demonstrates product features and benefits to customers

+ Assists in conducting training sessions for customers and hospital staff on BD products and related procedures

+ Acts as a liaison between BD and customers to identify and resolve issues

+ Maintains detailed records of customer interactions and activity such as product demos, training, and customer complaints

+ Develops relationships with key decision makers and influencers at target accounts

+ Monitors and reports market trends and competitor activities

+ Participates in professional organizations and trade shows

+ Attends meetings and conferences

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ 1-3 years of B2B sales or clinical experience required

+ Experience working in an acute care setting strongly preferred

+ Strong understanding of medical terminology

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment

+ Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license

+ Travel required – estimated to be approximately 50%-75%
