Job Description
The Lead IT Auditor is responsible for designing, conducting, and evaluating IT audits to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires maintaining a comprehensive understanding of IT risk management, information systems, cybersecurity, data governance, and information technology operations. The Lead IT Auditor will execute risk-based IT audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and assist with other IT audit-related projects. Key responsibilities include preparing audit work papers, and developing audit reports based on results of procedures. Additionally, the Lead IT Audit is responsible for communicating IT audit findings to relevant departments and personnel to ensure a clear understanding of identified issues. The Lead IT Auditor will aid in developing management action plans and follow up to verify their implementation. The Lead IT Auditor must stay current with state and federal statutes, regulations, and ongoing regulatory matters related to information technology, information security, privacy, and data governance. The Lead IT Auditor will research and interpret relevant standards to respond to inquiries from internal audit staff, colleagues, and management. This role also involves participating in department quality assurance efforts through information sharing, training, planning activities, reporting work in progress, and reviewing IT audit staff work papers. Additionally, the auditor will conduct training sessions on IT audit results to enhance operational efficiency and security of the organization.
Education And Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Information Systems, or related field, or relevant experience required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred.
Experience
5 years of experience in IT / IS Assurance, Public Accounting, Internal Auditing, Internal Control Design/Documentation, or a comparable position required. 2 years of experience in healthcare experience, project management skills, Data Analysis preferred.

**Salary Range:** $82,212.00 - $113,022.00
