Maintenance Supervisor – Tucson, AZ

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing the Maintenance department, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. This role drives area-specific maintenance projects and process enhancements while supporting a team of approximately 12 technicians. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position works closely with Production, EH&S, Quality, HR, Finance, and Engineering teams.

Shift & Schedule

Full-time | 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Flexibility to work outside of standard hours, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.

What you will do:

+ Lead TPM efforts and continuous improvement initiatives

+ Apply Lean problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.)

+ Ensure equipment reliability to maximize productivity and product quality

+ Support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues

+ Implement process improvements to enhance changeover and line efficiency

+ Optimize asset utilization and plant performance

+ Provide training to upskill maintenance technicians

+ Schedule and manage preventive maintenance tasks and priorities

+ Oversee and inspect major contractor work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical)

+ Foster positive, professional relationships with employees and contractors

+ Enforce safety protocols and best practices

+ This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly basis. Compensation is flexible and determined based on the candidate’s experience

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management preferred

+ Mechanical/Electrical background with PLC experience strongly preferred

+ Minimum 3 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing

+ Proficient with SAP or other CMMS systems

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills

+ Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative

+ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
