    Introduction

     

    Your role and responsibilities

    SAP Basis Administrator, IBM Corporation, Durham, NC (up to 60% telecommuting permitted):

    * Work on SAP Basis system implementation, SAP NetWeaver system upgrades, SAP support pack upgrades, administration, technical monitoring and performance tuning on SAP ABAP and SAP Java Systems on Oracle, DB2 or HANA databases.

    * Handle SAP HANA implementation, upgrade, administration, system replication setup, performing failover and disaster recovery.

    * Handle SAP S/4HANA installation, maintenance, upgrade, and administration.

    * Integrate Handle SAP Database Migration using system update manager tool with database migration option to IBM cloud, AWS or Azure.

    * Support SAP S/4 HANA conversion and BW/4 HANA conversions to on-premises, IBM cloud, AWS or Azure.

    * Handle power system provisioning, network, and firewall setup on cloud.

    * Configure RedHat cluster setup and transport and change management via Rev-trac and implement SAP hot fixes.

    * Maintain SAP Fiori installation, setup, and configuration.

    * Utilize: SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, SAP ABAP, SAP Java systems, SAP HANA.

     

    Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer science, Computer Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a SAP Basis Systems Administrator, Systems Support Specialist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing using SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, SAP ABAP, SAP Java systems, SAP HANA. AV124. $138462 to $166100 per year. Full time.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer science, Computer Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a SAP Basis Systems Administrator, Systems Support Specialist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing using SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, SAP ABAP, SAP Java systems, SAP HANA.
