Patient Access Analytics and Education Development – Medical** **Associates - Albany, NY - FT

This position has the possibility of Hybrid remote work after a training period.

What you will do:
This position is responsible for front end analytics and benchmarking. They will serve as the subject matter expert for all ambulatory front-end workflows and partner with front end education on development and execution desired workflows. Using data, system reports and analytics they will drive performance improvement planning and maintain dashboard reporting for practice leadership.
Responsibilities:
The tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Partners with front-end education to ensure staff are properly trained, on-boarded, and regularly evaluated on competencies and quality of work.
+ Leads oversight/creation of benchmark reporting for front-end tasks
+ Obtains and ensures timely communication on new and/or changing front-end workflows to allow for compliance on all front-end related tasks
+ Assists teams in troubleshooting front-end related barriers/issues impacting performance, as well as patient satisfaction.
+ Facilitates communication with front-end leads and practice management
+ Assists in management of front-end intranet page
+ Participates in local and enterprise front end related mtg series as assigned.
+ Monitors and assists with cash draw related issues
. **What you will need:**
+ High school graduate. College degree preferred.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of previous patient registration / insurance verification experience in a healthcare environment Previous coding and edit/billing experience strongly preferred. General revenue cycle experience is preferred.
+ Familiarity with EPIC Patient Access work queues.
+ Must have up to date knowledge of third-party rules and regulations.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
+ Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
+ Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and techniques with attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to resolve routine to moderately complex problems.
+ Well-developed interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to effectively communicate with other departments, vendors and providers.
**Pay Range** : $28.55 – $41.40
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
