    **Title:** Manager Research - Cardiology and Internal Medicine

    **Facility:** St. Joseph's Hospital / Morton Plant Hospital

    Responsibilities:

    + Plans, develops and manages the conduct of clinical research. Supervises staff to meet the complex requirements of clinical research trials.

    + Acts as an interdepartmental liaison for all research related activities.

    + Negotiates contracts and budget with trial sponsors, external research agencies and investigators to ensure support for the research departments.

    + Identifies opportunities for developmental growth and expansion.

    + Provides strategic, tactical and operational management in the planning and execution of clinical trials.

    Experience & Education Requirements:

    + Required - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business or Related Field and 5 years experience in Clinical Research and 2 years experience in a supervisory role

    + Or - Associates Degree in Nursing and 7 years experience in Clinical Research and 2 years experience in a supervisory role

    Certification:

    + Required - Registered Nurse (State of Florida)

    + Preferred - CCRC (Clinical Research)
