The Operations Trainer is responsible for providing training on the necessary skills and knowledge to employees and ensuring that Operations is equipped with a workforce that can optimize its current and future goals and objectives and deliver quality products and services in a safe manner that meet customer requirements.

+ Effectively train, certify, and provide guidance to new hires and transferring personnel on day-to-day processes in a manufacturing environment.
+ Prepare, schedule, and conduct hands-on training.
+ Provide guidance and mentoring for existing personnel to further develop their skills.
+ Continuously identify opportunities to improve the overall success of operations.
+ Assist Training Supervisor to implement process improvements and NPIs.
+ Proactively identify areas for training improvement related to quality, processes, and productivity.
+ Interpret and input data into application-based data systems.
+ Read, comprehend, and adhere to written work instructions, SOP’s, etc.
+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and promote a safe work environment for all team members.
+ Accomplish other duties as assigned

+ Thorough understanding of hearing instrument manufacturing processes

Experience:
+ Knowledge of a variety of hearing aid manufacturing roles
+ Familiarity with ISO standards/FDA regulations

Full-time position during standard business hours Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target hourly rate for this position can range from $24.00 to $28.00 an hour. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience. To remain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including discretionary bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and paid holidays.
