    Description

    Trinity Solar is seeing aHuman Resources Benefits Administratoris responsible for managing and supporting all day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives. This role ensures benefits compliance, data accuracy, and high-quality employee service, while identifying opportunities to improve benefits offerings.

    Responsibilities:

    + Administer various employee benefits programs, including 401(k), enrollments, changes, COBRA, terminations and compliance auditing, testing and reporting.

    + Maintain benefits data in HRIS and ensure accurate payroll deductions.

    + Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.

    + Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.

    + Coordinate benefits communications to improve employee understanding.

    + Monitor and audit

    + Process (opens and closes) FMLA and ADA requests and ensures proper compliance.

    + Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.

    + Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Inform all employees of the options that are offered. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.

    + Assist Benefits Director in completing benefits reporting requirements including ACA.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills:

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

    + Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.

    + Project and team management/leadership skills and experience.

    + Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.

    + Effective planning and priority setting. The ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

    + Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.

    + Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.

    + Excellent communication and organization skills.

    Education and Experience:

    + College degree; or combination of HR relative experience and education

    + Three to five years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience.

    + SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and CEBS professional designations preferred.

    Essential Functions:

    + This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office/ 2 days remote.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Hand dexterity

    + Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
