Responsibilities

Apply specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders, conditions and addictions.

+ Administer and interpret tests and measures of psychosocial functioning for the purpose of diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities.

+ Develop and implement appropriate assessment-based treatment plans.

+ Consult with team manager, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with the patient's treatment plan.

+ Provide crisis-oriented psychotherapy as well as short-term and long-term psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment.

+ Document patient therapy in accordance with both federal and state regulations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ One or more of the following required:

+ Social Worker credentialed from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any level accepted.

+ Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any level accepted.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with underserved communities, providing clinical support and advocating for clients' welfare. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse healthcare setting.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

+ **Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.**

+ **Licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW).**

+ **Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting, with a focus on serving under-served populations.**

+ **Demonstrated ability to assess and diagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans.**

+ **Proficient in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.**

+ **Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.**

+ **Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.**

+ **Commitment to cultural competence and understanding of the social determinants of health affecting under-served communities.**

+ **Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.**
