We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Holliston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will manage and execute complex tax engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable tax codes and fostering strong client relationships. • Handle the preparation and timely filing of corporate, fiduciary, charitable, partnership, and individual tax returns, emphasizing accuracy and problem-solving.

• Execute complex tax engagements with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

• Communicate directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships.

• Mentor and provide guidance to Staff Accountants, including reviewing their tax preparation work.

• Offer backup support to the Tax Manager as needed.

• Stay updated on changes to tax laws and apply advanced knowledge of tax codes in all engagements.

• Prepare tax returns for S Corporations, C Corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

• Collaborate on multi-state and international tax matters when applicable.

• Clearly explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members, ensuring understanding and transparency.

• Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements

• Proficiency with tax accounting software systems, including CCH ProSystem fx, Lacerte, and RIA Checkpoint.

• 4+ years of hands-on tax experience

• CPA desired but experience will also work

• Strong experience in preparing tax returns for S Corporations and C Corporations.

• Knowledge of multi-state and international tax regulations is a plus.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Advanced understanding of tax codes and a commitment to staying informed about updates.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with auditing, compliance, and financial statement preparation.
