We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in the daily accounting operations, month-end close, fixed assets, job costing, budgeting, financial analysis, assisting with the annual audit and various ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly closing processes for all company and subsite assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in the creation, review, and compilation of work orders while maintaining scanned documentation for job and contract files.

• Audit and assign costs to jobs and contracts, completing capitalization processes as needed.

• Prepare detailed requisitions for loan fund advances and maintain accurate records of loan fund budgets and expenditures.

• Develop schedules and perform analyses related to loan applications and fund accounting history.

• Generate monthly journal entries, including calculations for interest during construction, overhead costs, and other required entries.

• Create cost analysis reports, schedules, and documentation for annual audits.

• Budgeting, Financial Analysis and Variance Analysis

• Perform other duties as required to maintain and report on the condition of company assets.

Interested candidates must have a bachelor degree in Accounting, 3+ years of experience progressive accounting with month-end close, journal entries, fixed assets, budgeting, financial analysis and variance analyses. Hands on experience with a large ERP and strong Excel skills are required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum of three years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.

• Proficiency in financial processes such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.

• Strong knowledge of fixed assets, job costing, and month-end close procedures.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manage and analyze complex data.

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
