Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead budgeting efforts by developing, tracking, and revising financial plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
+ Administer accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, leveraging QuickBooks Online to process invoices, receipts, and statements efficiently.
+ Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
+ Monitor project budgets, collaborating with managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely invoicing for construction projects.
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly in construction-related finance such as prevailing wage reporting and lien waivers.
+ Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients to streamline financial processes and resolve discrepancies quickly.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
+ 5+ years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in the construction industry.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and accounting-related software.
+ Strong analytical skills with expertise in budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts in an approachable way to cross-functional teams.
