Tyler Houk (Practice Director) is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Tulare, California. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks within a dynamic, multi-company environment. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in reconciliations, financial data management, and accounting software while contributing to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts related to special projects.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations within a multi-company structure.

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing.

• Ensure accuracy in financial records through diligent data entry and reporting.

• Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and Word to maintain organized and efficient accounting workflows.

• Support the team with various accounting tasks and projects as needed.

• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word.

• Completion of college-level coursework in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing.
