Description

Our client is looking for a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join their civil litigation team in Granite Bay, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law and motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse cases, collaborate with a dynamic team, and engage with a variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and argue motions, including law and motion practice, with precision and attention to detail.

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive case strategies.

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting, responding to, and reviewing discovery documents.

• Prepare for and participate in trials, ensuring readiness and effective advocacy.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing clear communication and updates on case progress.

• Handle a diverse caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for complex cases and ensure successful outcomes.

• Stay updated on legal developments and incorporate changes into practice as necessary.

• Provide expertise in construction law, if applicable, to address client needs effectively.

Requirements • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

• At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, including trial preparation and discovery.

• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

• Proven ability to manage a variety of cases independently and efficiently.

• Familiarity with construction law or construction-related cases is a plus.

• Demonstrated proficiency in law and motion practice.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
