    We're looking for a Sr. Construction Manager to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients’ business and business practices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on construction projects including Caltrans District 4 highway projects. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and oversight of day-to-day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

     

    Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global, and local.

     

    * Bachelor’s degree

    * 15+ years of proven experience in Construction Management working on Caltrans transportations projects directly for Caltrans or for local agencies/cities.

    * Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.

    * Knowledge of current and upcoming relevant local, regional, state and federal regulations governing design, construction, contracting, environmental, and safety measures

    * Experience with projects utilizing alternative project delivery.

    * Experience supporting clients on multiple capital projects.

    * Familiar with Caltrans internal processes and procedures

    * Familiar with Caltrans Local Assistance procedures

    * Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record

    Ideally, you’ll also have:

    * Current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California

    * Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
