Description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plaintiff’s personal injury cases and a proven ability to manage cases from intake to resolution. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various legal responsibilities, including state and federal court procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through final resolution, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Prepare, draft, and respond to discovery documents in compliance with legal standards and timelines.

• Handle state court e-filing processes and assist with federal court filings as needed.

• Organize and maintain case files, including preparing trial materials and exhibits.

• Support attorneys during trial preparation, including briefing and claim administration.

• Utilize case management software to track deadlines, appointments, and case progress.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the case.

• Conduct legal research and prepare case-related documents using tools like Adobe Acrobat.

• Manage calendars, schedules, and deadlines to ensure smooth case progression.

• Assist in drafting settlement agreements and other legal correspondence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plaintiff Paralegal focusing on Personal Injury cases

• Proficiency in state court e-filing is required; familiarity with federal court procedures is a plus.

• Experience in drafting and responding to discovery documents.

• Strong understanding of case management software and tools like Adobe Acrobat.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
