Description We are looking for a skilled PLC Programmer with expertise in Emerson DeltaV systems to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in designing, programming, and maintaining automation systems for manufacturing applications. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong real-time controls experience and a background in structured programming languages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and program Emerson DeltaV systems to optimize manufacturing operations.

• Utilize real-time controls to ensure seamless automation and system functionality.

• Create and troubleshoot ladder diagrams, sequential function charts, and structured text programming.

• Implement and maintain IEC 61131-3 control languages, including ladder diagrams and structured text.

• Conduct simulations to validate system performance and functionality.

• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to PLC programming and automation systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.

• Document programming processes and maintain system updates as needed.

• Support ongoing improvements to system reliability and operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and automation systems.

• Proficiency in Emerson DeltaV system programming.

• Strong understanding of real-time controls and structured text programming.

• Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 control languages, including ladder diagrams and sequential function charts.

• Experience with simulation tools to test and validate system functionality.

• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
