Description We are looking for a dedicated and personable Call Center Representative to join our team in Gardner, Massachusetts. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will provide exceptional service to credit union members, addressing their inquiries and offering guidance about financial products and services. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is eager to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and resolving member inquiries.
• Assist members with account-related services, including account verification, opening and closing accounts, and processing loan applications.
• Address member concerns regarding online banking, remote access, and other digital services.
• Process financial transactions such as wire transfers and stop payments for share draft accounts.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of member applications and documents via mail, fax, or email.
• Research and resolve routine questions, complaints, and issues related to credit union accounts.
• Provide training and support to other staff members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Participate in community engagement events and uphold the credit union’s core values.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory training and regulatory requirements. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center, customer service, or banking environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High level of confidentiality and accuracy in handling member information.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
