Description

Reputable mid-sized firm is seeking a litigation associate with at least one year of experience to join their collaborative and dynamic team in Sacramento, California. Ideal candidates will have a background in civil litigation, a desire to learn employment law, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases while contributing to a respected and well-regarded law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, including employment law cases, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

• Draft comprehensive pleadings, discovery responses, and motions that meet high-quality standards.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

• Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal forums.

• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to develop case strategies and achieve client goals.

• Manage case deadlines and client expectations to ensure timely and satisfactory outcomes.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication and top-notch legal services.

• Mentor less experienced associates and contribute to the firm’s growth and development initiatives.

• Participate in firm-sponsored training and skill-building programs to enhance expertise.

• Stay updated on changes in employment law and other relevant legal areas to provide informed counsel.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of litigation experience..

• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with precision and clarity.

• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and effective client relationships.

• High academic achievement and a strong commitment to excellence.

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
