Description
We are looking for an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the education sector. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee and guide IT projects related to enterprise systems, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals. This position is based in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and offers the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget objectives.
• Provide strategic oversight and act as an advisor for enterprise system upgrades and implementations.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration and functionality of enterprise applications.
• Oversee the development of systems to manage reports related to promotions, tenure, research profiles, and other critical organizational data.
• Establish and maintain project governance, adhering to PMO best practices and change management principles.
• Facilitate communication across multiple business offices to ensure alignment and transparency in project progress.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure on-time and successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within project teams.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on enterprise-level systems.
• Proven expertise in managing projects within a PMO framework and applying change management practices.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software development and implementation processes.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or similar enterprise systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Adept at risk management and problem-solving in complex project environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a relevant capacity. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
