• Desktop Support Analyst

    Description We are on the lookout for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in New York, New York. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will serve as the connecting link between the trading floor, technical sectors, and vendors, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will be tasked with managing system health, providing essential support for computer hardware, software, and telephone equipment, and escalating incidents when necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary contact between various teams and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues.

    • Manage and maintain system health, ensuring optimal performance and prompt resolution of any problems.

    • Provide essential support for computer hardware, software, and telephone equipment, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.

    • Track, escalate, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.

    • Escalate incidents to relevant parties, such as developers, server, and network engineers, when necessary.

    • Deploy, configure, and tune Windows workstations, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

    • Leverage skills in Citrix Technologies, Computer Hardware, Active Directory, and Configuration Management to perform tasks effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Proficient understanding of Citrix Technologies

    • Extensive knowledge in dealing with Computer Hardware

    • Familiarity with Active Directory and its functionalities

    • Experience in Configuration Management

    • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Windows OS Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
